さて赤字のcock-up。これはなんとなくわかりますね。定義は"something done badly or inefficiently"で、簡単にいうと「ヘマ」ですね。ちなみに次のfaux pasも似たような意味です。こういったhyphonatedされた言葉は以外にも新聞などで出てきます。
